Door Template came out of a working door shop. Years of laying out hinge locations by hand will teach you the same lesson: the math, the measuring tape, and the occasional rework are wasted time. The answer is a fixed-position jig that takes the variables out of hinge layout.
The system grew out of daily production. Real doors. Real installs. Real refinement before it ever shipped to a customer.
The full-length one-piece templates handle 6'8", 7'0", and 8'0" doors with locked hinge positions and no joints to drift. The single-pocket templates cover 3.5", 4", and 4.5" hinges for repairs and one-off jobs. The hidden hinge router template uses removable pins to handle both door-side and jamb-side cuts from a single jig.
Every piece is CNC precision cut from 5/8" Baltic birch plywood, UV-finished both sides for moisture and wear resistance.
